I hear the ticking of the clock
I watch as time drifts away
Hands on the time piece tremble
as this aging body trembles

The tick has been overtaken by silence
time has left me blind
Trembling hands are still
as this body returns to dust

Into a cold and dark shell
on a never ending journey
where time stands still
and the dust is ageless

(big hugggsssssss) Soooooo powerfully expressed, sweet friend! (sigh) Time will always tick away, but in embracing each second with a smile and hope, we can share all the love in our hearts and bring harmony to all the world! (sigh) BRAVO!!! It is always a pleasure to read your words, sweet friend, my heart is always with you! (big hugggssssss) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Stevie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Very good piece on where time will takes us into dust. I like the trembling hands on the time piece. Blessings of timeless thoughts!!

Great job, Stevie...I loved the trembling hands on the clock...and the way the poem seems to make time turn into dust.
