I sit on my porch, at the sky staring, About to unravel a plan so daring. Early December The autumn leaves are leaving. Crystals chill the wind. The blue moon is coming. Soaring through the stillness now. A soft blue so true. See your eyes, shining bright, I've got that feeling tonight, As we waste off so fast, We forget the past. Shooting stars fly by. They speak to me in kind, warm tones. Across they sky they soar. I know that we will be alright. Let's chase the moon this fine warm night. Start that car, we are going far, And lets not stop till we see sunlight, We are children of the night. The endless trees pass. Surrounding darkened wheat fields. Forgiving darkness. The night cradles me, Yes, the headlights advance on. Dont stop to look back. We are shooting stars. Away from fears and pains we drive. We are so alive. See your eyes, shining bright, I've got that feeling tonight, As we waste off so fast, We forget the past. We are children of the night. Love is God. Love is war. Love is what your life is for. |
