Lost in my thoughts on the river of dreams
from placid pools to rushing streams
Where did it start and where will it end
this river that takes me back again

For it takes me not on, but flows me back
this river flowing in my mind of a certain tack
Lost to the sound of rushing flow
or spinning in a whirlpool circling so slow

Throwing on a sand spit to rest awhile
for it has taken me back many miles
League upon league, through ages past
knowing upon wake, it will never last

From time of first cry to last close of eyes
the dream river flows after first moon rise
Are they true, where that flow takes me
all these dreams that come to be

Whether true or only in the mind
it comes to me to seek and find
with words on paper or in the head
prose and poety, the dream river has led

does a huge moon appear, I would think it so
for this river has its ever rightful flow
its give and take, its push and pull
to wend its flow round dreams so full

Ah dear Logan, this river of dreams flows smoothly through my mind as I read.  Lovely, lyrical and very soothing.  A wonderful piece from you today gentle one.  You have been missed.

Your work always has a peaceful effect on me, like I've stopped to smell the sea.

Some dreams are destined to remain in dreamland. Others may come to be a part of reality. May your favorite special dreams come true.

There is peace in the touch of your poetry and your prose, Sweet Warrior. You are wonderfully powerful in your gentleness!

Logan you paint the most wonderful dreams with the gift of your words and wisdom.  This touched me and now off to tuck this along with my other jewels of life.  Thank you for this.
