Listening to every heart

0 posted 2001-12-06 04:01 PM

In the Month of Remember

What does it hurt then,
Remembering ~

Seems quite innocent
If we chance upon
A moment

In the month of remember,
A dateless time,
With only a pen to guide us
Only a page to inspire

A moment
Unsurpassed as never before
Or will ever be
Again

So I ask you,
What if
We take a lifetime of
Remembers
Encapsulate them
Into this Moment

And make it

A

Life’s span…

Would you love with me there?

With thanks for the inspiration
to Janet Marie and Martie,
for a poem, and a comment….

I knew when I saw the title ...
I smiled as soon as it popped up...
a smile that grew larger with each lovley line......
my heart smiled when I read the small print

This is beautiful!   Could we, as poets, officially name every month the month of remembering?

Your storm of assumption feeds anger I am calm enough to hold inside. Don't pretend to know me if you've never put stretched out your heart with since

A man would be a fool not to spend his life there, wouldn't he?  Very nicely penned, Karilea.
