The Way to Love a Woman

by Michael

When the world winds down
and is winded with age,

when stars are loosed
from the firmament
and can no longer cast
their heavenly glow
to reflect in your lovely eyes,

when the whispers and stirrings of night
can no longer be heard,
know I love you,
that my love remains,
endures,
survives.

As the sea in its eternity
kisses the shore,
I shall kiss you forever.

So very beautiful and sensitive, Michael...
I don't know of a single woman ( or a married one, for that matter) who wouldn't love to hear this from the man she loves.
I wish my husband would tell me those lines.
