Don't Tread On Me

Sometimes
treading where one
has not been invited
leads to more trouble than it's worth,
when done.

* a phrase...inspired.

Don't know what inspired your post.
But this was my reaction.

Got the juices flowing.

If footsteps stop, and the call for help is ignored, where will we be then?
At times we tread softly, but onward, in the face of maybe danger, aware that two outcomes may prevail.

Sincerely
Rick

nice to see your response Rick...sometimes I wonder what causes a persons interest in anothers life when they were not interested  enough to begin with  before they see someone feeling down or up or in between. I was  just saying that advice sometimes need not be given when not asked for unless like you say you are taking the chance of 1- being thanked for it or  2- being told  to mind your own...anyway...thanks for reading.

Though people may not seem to care, when seeing someone unhappy, we all respond, be it to offer words of kindness or actions of help. We are all only human and many times do not know our own feelings till they are triggered.
May you stay well and happy.

Sincerely
Rick

Thank you again Rick and Sudhir..this has nothing to do with anyone on here...it is  a statement of my perspective on  life..sometimes ones words only add to  the hurt..I understand the need  to  comfort..that is always accepted..it's the need to defend when there is nothing to defend..that is when no words need be  said...You see I believe when one protests too much, there is a reason for it..but I would rather not  get onto that subject ..my poem was a poem of expression only and not  meant to be a discussion or I would  have placed it there. I thank you  both and any others for commenting, later on..I shall not be responding to this one anymore..it speaks for itself..... *s

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Maureen, it is so sad indeed where we are invited when we don't want to and it can break so many hearts when love should be where both want to be invited happily! (sigh) May your loving heart tread softly on joy and love ever after! (sigh) We all love you so much, sweet friend! (kiss on cheek) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maureen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
