We are born
to love and be loved
Sometimes
we get second rate love
by those who cannot love
because they
never loved themselves
Then we compromise
and love alone
Always living for
that touch that
resembles affection
We live a long life
for love
never losing hope
And when
we're lost
and cannot feel love
we can always
get back to basics

Very well said. That is the way it is. Sometimes we think we have enough love for both parties but when we become empty and can give no more there is still the need to have received love. *sigh* I can feel this poem. **hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Your thoughts are true on this.. many people can tend to be like that.. unable to grasp the beauty of life. What else is more important than  trying to find somebody to love, never losing hope?

Love is God. Love is war. Love is what your life is for.
