Her Flirting Eyes

by Michael

I caught her eye, she caught my own,
though she and I were not alone.
She had a friend, I had my wife.
So seems, the fortune of my life.

A come-one look, seductive stare.
I nearly fell out of my chair.
She had a drink and I had two.
What is a man supposed to do?

My wife got up, to bathroom went.
Her number, by a waiter, sent.
I thought I’d pass out then for sure.
Do roaming eyes not have a cure?

I could not help but want her lips,
as eyes traced down to lovely hips.

Now, I know why he never takes me out to dinner!!!!!
It's that pause between courses that does it right?  ROFL.  Don't mind me, I really liked this poem.

When what to my wandering eyes
should appear,
but a miniature left hook,
right next to my poor ear!

I couldn't resist! Blame it on SEA's reply.

OK, Michael, just what did you do with that phone number? Passed it on to a bachelor friend maybe?

Karilea,
Where else were my thoughts entertained?  The answer to THAT would have to be posted in Adult. LOL!   In order to continue the story I'd have to call the number she gave me.  Uh uh, no way I'm doing that. LOL! Thanks for liking this one.

Randy,
Thanks for stopping by and a BIG welcome to Passions.

Sandra,
Am NOT calling that woman's number!  Part two might get me divorced. LOL!   Thanks, my friend (((hugs)))
