Surrounded in joyous holiday spirit Whispering, 'I love you' for only you to hear it A neatly wrapped box you hand to me I begin to unwrap it in front of family Carefully, I remove the red glittery bow Ripping wrapping paper as my curiousity grows I close my eyes as I'm about to reveal my surprise Feeling cold, hard glass I open my eyes and release a gasp Two glass angels holding hands Oh, I love it! It will look perfect on my nightstand It's so beautiful, I can hardly breathe So Overjoyed about this gift you've given to me! I run over to you, wrapping you in a hug You smile and tell me to look above Under the mistletoe, our lips meet At that very moment I feel complete Santa brought you to me as an early xmas present Better yet you're my year round gift from heaven! Again, we coincidently meet under the mistletoe Kissy kissy in front of parents usually is a no-no But I can't refrain from your sweet lips though! Meet me again in ten minutes, Under the mistletoe! Rose, This was a very uplifting and fun escape. On this big head I carry a halo style mistletoe It dangles above me everywhere that I go. I approached every pretty girl I would see But they were allergic to mistletoe, how could that be? Roger |
