Words Will Live On

I am lost for words
What should I say
A dear poet friend
Had  passed away

Words we shared
Almost four years
In sorrow  I write
Wiping away tears

The gates opening
A dear poet flies
Upon angel wings
On heavenly skies

A friend departed
I’m here weeping
She dwells above
Peacefully sleeping

I’ll miss you friend
Sad you are gone
It is not goodbye
Words will live on

Hope (that's a beautiful name) I found this to be a lovely and sweet tribute--through the words are the memories shared.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Hope, I'm so so sorry to hear this! (big hugggsssssss) I too knew her so very well, and I always loved her beautiful words on The Doves Nest and other poetry forums. (wipes tears) She is such a beautiful friend and poetess and I'm going to miss her so very much, but deep down, her love and words will always live and whisper to all our hearts! (big hugggssssssss) May her love forever guide and shine in us all! (big hugggssssss) Soooooo sad but beautiful, sweet Hope, God Bless You! (kiss on cheek) You have such a beautiful heart, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Hope, I am sorry for your loss of Peggy, I only received an email about it this morning. I  know what it feels like to continuously lose good friends at their life's end...I wish you comfort, knowing her words live on. A nice write.

Thanks Maureen , yes for four years we had replied to each others poetry , she was only 49 . We all become close through caring and sharing our hearts work .
I still also miss Bill deeply everyday

Hope I too miss Bill.  It is always sad to lose ones we care for, but as you said
the words shall live on....
and so shall the memories.  Wonderful
expression Hope.
I couldn't find you on icq anymore to express my sadness, but know that my thoughts are with you.

what I miss the most is that Bill was too ill for several of us to go see him when the opportunity of a visit came up
regrets...there are always regrets...I still have many of his poems he would send to see if they needed any corrections...most times, they were perfect as is. *s
