~ Marsha’s Men ~
~ The K Connection ~

What is it about men and little me?
If I tell you my tale then perhaps you’ll see

First there was Jake he was so sweet
He was always clean and so very neat
But our parents thought two too young
Sesame Street was what he always sung

Then there was Mick he was so tall
His height let me climb the garden wall
He lived next door when I was five
But he had to go he ate worms that were still alive

There was Dirk he carried books for me
And regularly came to have his tea
He had a brother who picked his nose
And then he went off with a girl called rambling Rose

Then along came Rick he was a pain
He was like being soaked by ice cold rain
I never understood him I still don’t
I say please leave me alone but no he still won’t

There was Mark now he scarred me
I couldn’t cope with his duplicity
When I fell for him I fell so hard
And he wrote you’re dumped in a Christmas card

Then there was Mike he was a star
We used to go riding in his dad’s car
He’d get her up to 60 going downhill
But he left me one day for a guy called big Phil

Now there’s Jack and what can I say
He says he loves me a 100 times a day
He is quiet powerful and very well off
I think I’ll keep him I won’t send my Jack off

All of them had a K don’t you see?
Maybe I have some strange affinity
Or perhaps it’s an odd coincidence
Whatever it is I have no K defence

Marsha

Marsha,
If I change my name from Roger to Kroger, can I be on your shopping list? (By the way, my sweet, Kroger is a grocery store over here).
Very cute and the poem was nice too!

Marsha K,
what do I say
to all the men you've shown today

without a doubt
I'm missing out
will you pass them all on if I shout.

K

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Dear Marsha,
I'd ask you to share, but you'd give me the one who ate live worms, I'm afraid.

Marsha, this is too cute. Only problem is I always refer to the heartbreaker of my life by "K" so as not to say his whole name and who knows why else.
So the thought and rhyme is great, and fun,
and yet it made me sad. Go figure..

mushy one, you DO realize that, when keeping baseball scorecards, K signifies a strikeout!! Maybe that's where you went wrong!!

Love your style...and you humor, my friend!

Stevie darling boy, Marsha strolls over to Stevie and gives him a huge   Of course you're the only one darling boy, you know that   How on earth would I get through a day without flirting with you daring boy? Mmmmmmmm but remember I promised your Mama that  wouldn't inflame you too much. Now Roger is fair game, he hasn't got Juanita to protect him. You can see him quaking in his shoes, can't you? It's okay Roger it's your first week here I'll go easy, but watch out for the wench.
Welcome to Pasions Stevie

Juanita darling girl well   did it make you smile love?   oh I'm so pleased you came, you'll love the smilies here, they are better than at Moontown.   I promise I'll be really good and not lead you into devilment, well, not too much anyway. As always you bring joy with you darling girl, have fun

Roger darling boy, now you know the answer to that don't you   There's me sitting here wearing my buxom wench a la 'Bet' as in Oliver outfit. And I'm smiling, what more do you want dear boy? Mmmmmm   Surely you don't want me to remind you that You're a Married spud   ahhhh well that leaves wenching out of my diary today     Well you know where I am if you want me love   I wonder if we should tell the people here that you and I have a certain understanding   Oh well they'll find out. Particularly if the wench appears. I'll tell Keth to keep her claws sheathed, you know how rough she gets when I get to the goodies first   Truthfully darling boy welcome I'm so glad you managed to arrive

Love and warm stuff
As always darling boy

Keth darling girl and sister of my heart, now, is that coincidence that you are under Roger, or is it by design? Mmmm , I don't know anything to steal a march on me. You surely don't want to duel again? You know I'll con you into thinking you've lost. All it takes is a bit of smoke and mirrors darling and as little effort as possible on my part.   Besides you won't get away with stealing my words this time Nan has promised to keep an eye on you   That's flung a cat among the pigeons hasn't it? you don't think I marched all our friends over here for fun did you? No of course not it's to stop you from running amok.   And you know these are just a fraction of the tales I could tell   But my lips are sealed

Sandra darling girl I know just how you feel even now I can't bear to say his name, let alone see it. And lets face it I'm as happy as a grig. whatever a grig may be   I positively beam joy and delight to almost everyone
I'm glad it made you smile, even if it was a struggle, thank you. If anyone deserves happiness you do

'Deer dear heart, now, you know I know nothng about baseball, except that it looks a little like rounders, although the bat is bigger and probably the pitch is too. Oh and you're not allowed to hold the rounders bat with two hands.
So how would I know? The most I've seen is a couple of clips like in A Field Of Dreams thats the worst film I've ever seen, its terminally dull and A League of Their Own I liked that film, and the odd scene here and there.
I'm assuming from my limited knowledge, that a strike out means that out of the three times the bowler throws the ball at the bat, it's not even touched. So he or she (the person who was supposedly the batter. So what do you call someone who didn't bat, the non batter??) is out? So they then troll off to await their turn at fielding, and hope they can get their own back on the little darling who ended their innings so ignominiously

I'm sorry you aren't on the previous replies I've been having a little trouble with the connection tonight. I'm glad it made you smile love   it is supposed to bring a few grins. Besides I needed an antidote to the tears you and Keth have been giving me.   How often do I have to tell you red rimmed eyes are not at all attractive. (Is this kind 'Deer dear?)

AD dear heart I'm so pleased you like it, it was supposed to bring a giggle or two
Sorry this is a short reply but this is the fifth time I've been disconnected and I want to do it quickly before it goes again
