~ Butterscotch Sky ~

Margie girl’s title is a Butterscotch sky
It brings all manner of images to my eye
I can visualise it all quite clearly
The sugar sweet pictures of my fantasy
Beneath a butterscotch sky of toffee  hue
I wander beside the lake with you
This lake is filled up with chocolate milk
As smooth on my tongue as liquid silk

Under that open butterscotch sky
No worries or troubles cause me to sigh
I float along on a cloud of toffee cream
Then sink my teeth into this chocolate dream
The flowers in this magical place delight
They are lollies flavoured with sunlight
The grass beneath me is green coconut ice
And over there are some marshmallow mice

Beneath butterscotch sky I wander free
There’s nothing but joy in this fantasy
There’s a hint of peppermint in the air
This is a heavenly haven for us to share
The rainbow that arches over my head
Scatters sweeties coloured yellow and red
There’s a gingerbread house in ice cream lane
And the windows are chocolate milk and plain

Looks like the Gingerbread Man's house doesn't stand a plum pudding of a chance...

Marsha,
a colored confection of purest delight
but if you'd eaten all that you'd be sick half the night
enough sweetest wonder to draw me again
to overindulgence that would give me a pain

Marsha my Mushy your sweetness is sure
though I'.d rather the chocolate was not milked but pure
and the hint of the best that's yet to come
I'll have my coffee flavoured with rum

Beautiful~ and sweet!
Keth

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Yum!!!!!!!
This made me so hungry, Marsha...
When do we eat.
It was beautifully written and I love what you did with the different colors....that was really
I don't yet know how to work the fonts so I can get them into different sizes etc...
But I love the way you do it.

Margie girl, this is my playing about, I’m really pleased you like it but as I say it’s not a serious contender. Not with some so called friends outmatching me at every flick of their pens. I mention no names me, but the words perfidy and unfair advantage spring to mind.   I really do want that book   Okay I promise I won’t try bribery I know it won’t work

Lyra darling girl I’ll send you a crib sheet of how to’s that should help, however this was my first attempt at colour and size so I’m pleased. Which is the only reason it is here. It’s just me showing off. The real show off poem will appear on the 12th, that will be splendiferous.   I know modest aren’t I?

Marsha,
A perfection of confection!
