night melted out of sight
and yellow sparkles flew,
to open deep blue eyes
through early morning dew.

~

his horse had been riding
during night's total spill,
for his regal achieve,
with love's aim to fulfil.

the mist lifted self slow
as the prince rode his steed,
like whispers in the wind,
strides steady, yet with speed!

the ripples were tranquil
on the bed of the lake,
as young swans took to swim
in morn's peaceful awake.

light breeze of life flew in,
and with it came the sounds,
of birds singing in chirps -
sweet hums with joy abound.

the princess was glad too,
as today was the day,
when all her years of wait -
would end, be washed away.

like uncurling flowers,
her glee was to expand,
when the spring sun's first rays
rushed fore to take her hand.

as soft sounds of serene
were cut by eager breaths,
springing from sweet accord
that her winter's seen death.

dressed in radiant smiles,
waltzing with emeralds,
she's kissed the birth of dawn,
rejoicing love's herald.

~

'tis very true that all
this is plain fantasy
but when sunlight falls through
curtains, it's so easy.

dance, dance, O lovely one
dance in rays, full of style
dance, dance, O pretty one
dance this ballet of smiles

dance, dance, O lovely one
while the sunlight falls through
dance, dance, O pretty one
dance this song all day through

When sunlight falls is the best time for a fantasy to begin...

come, sweet dusk!

Wonderful!
