sometimes you slash with the sting of your voice
and I must hold my breath
for you are so much in the air around me
that the next gulp I take of you may bring me to tears
and biting words
and I do not want to bite you
so I hold my breath in the air that leaps with you
hoping a steady head will quell
a sudden onslaught of broken sighs
and I am just one single heart
holding one single thread of hope
trying not to sink
when the sting of your voice slashes
and trying not to fall from concsiousness
from the lack of your smile.
so I hold my breath in air that tingles with you
hoping a steady patience will cover us both.

Your storm of assumption feeds anger I am calm enough to hold inside. Don't pretend to know me if you've never put stretched out your heart with since

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Jennifer, I know just how you feel; sometimes I just have the heart to forgive but I don't want to feel burdened by a voice like that, and it wrenches my heart so deeply where I can't think clearly. (sigh) Very powerfully expressed poem, sweet friend, we all love you so very much! (kiss on cheek) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jennifer, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

I love the words you used to help get your message across. Very aggressive, I really liked it a lot.

Very well expressed!

In situations like you have described, patience and forgiving aren't always the best path.  It's wise to break the mood and change the subject.  So how's the family?

I don't know if I'm reading this right but it really made me think of something I'm going through right now and the one person I can't stand to hear stinging words from is the one I care for the most...
but it is very true that all of us need to be forgiven at various times in our lives...let it be...James

TemptyOne~
A stirring write ... I'm finding I like this bunches~

The neatest thing I've found about forgiving is -
I can do it ... and the other person doesn't get to refuse it ...
It's a *gift* I give MYSELF~
