When the mind trembles
And doors are closed
In the midnight of solitude
The sounds of nocturnals
Allows for reassurances
That you are alive but alone

Standing, as moths gather
The park light is host to weary soul
Time is running out, dreams and all
The young boy is older, but still in tears
He stood alone for years
Whispering hymns of hope
Stumbling on the pathway of misery

His father's shoulder left him standing alone
His voice was heard, and his pain appeased
As he stepped away he knew not who to trust
The years of torment came flashing back to haunt
He stands alone, waiting, for arms to hold him
As the tears come flooding back, his heart aches

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love
(Daniel J D)

A sad poem, Daniel. And a sad reply from a misguided Eagle. Loneliness is nothing to joke about, especially at someone else's expense.
It is a well written poem, it expresses loneliness quite well.

(wipes tears) I used to feel no one love dme at all, now that I have you and all my Passions friends and my dream lady sparrow love, I am so very happy! (sigh) Loneliness is a terrible feeling, but my heart goes out to him, and knows from the bottom of my heart love will coem to him and everyone who feels loneliness! (sigh) God Bless You, sweet friend! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Daniel, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Daniel,

I totally felt every line in this poem.
Being lonely is the worst feeling possible.
Remember, you always have a friend in me if you need me. ((hugs))

Daniel, I guess when one has no one to turn to, he'll still feel afraid and alone no matter how old he is. It's whether he shows this fear, but then a frightened man is no coward either. The only difference between a coward and a brave person is that the latter learns to confront his fear.

Aside: You're from Queensland, Australia?   That's where I am right now! haha
