Once again I find myself here
In the temple of your love
Kneeling before the flaming altar
Which burns bright with desire
As the very stone itself ignites
In a fury of yellow orange flame
Flickering softly before me

It feels as if I was summoned here
To worship you, my one true love
Giving you body, mind, and spirit
Basking in your touch upon my skin
Watching you tend to the yearning within
Hearts beating in rhythm together
As the flames dance in your eyes

I remember the very first time
My eyes fixed upon this sacred place
Yes, I came willingly to you
Bearing the most precious gift I had
Do you remember, my love?
Aye, it was my very heart
Which I laid upon your altar

I had never known such feeling
Powerful, fierce, encompassing
As I experienced on that day
You wrapped me softly in your love
Quenching a raging thirst deep within
By your very presence in my life
Together we worshipped before the altar

But that was then and this is now
Things are hardly the same for us
Yet I am being drawn once again
To the altar of passion and desire
The once bright flames have been rekindled
They dance silently on the temple walls
Can you see them, my love?

They beckon you to come
Will you heed their call?
Or will it fall upon deaf ears?
I know not the answer, my love
But I do know this . . .
Lying there surrounded by the flames
Lies my heart for the taking

All writing comes
by the grace of God.

WOW. This is incredibly beautiful Lone Wolf. And Sven? Few words can adequately describe him, and I only know him through these blue pages. But his heart beats of pure golden love, and that is quite an altar of love  you've put out there.
LOVE will indeed someday conquer this world.

Stunning, Lady! Completely and utterly beautifully stunning! Precious gifts through poetry offered. I think this is your best yet!

Your storm of assumption feeds anger I am calm enough to hold inside. Don't pretend to know me if you've never put stretched out your heart with since
