"The Shores of Alone"

Today, I prefer "The Shores of Alone"
where time becomes second and moments don't last,
where events pass me by in this season of caring,
I am just an interval, of time that has passed.

Maintaining a balance of love versus hate,
aligning and gauging dimensions, precise,
assessing surroundings in tower of time,
whose ticking has stopped not just once, but now twice.

"The Shores of Alone" where I bank without hope,
stranded, no pillars sustaining a fall.
A highwire act just to bridge the time's span,
the breadth of my pain is too broad for it all.

Embracing the sands of time sprinkled before,
I am now alone, on this distance of shore.

~Wynter

*Sandra I hope you don't mind me using your location as my title.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Maureen, such constant sorrow fills your words! (big hugggssssss) It may seem like forever being stranded in loneliness, but I know with all my heart that you and Sandra will both find true love once more, and it will bring joy to your hearts forever! (sigh) My heart cries out to you, sweetest friend! (kiss on cheek) Believe in yourself always, sweet one! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Maureen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Maureen, this is great, and I don't mind at all. I did a poem of the same title, too, severl months ago. Somewhat different, but we have the same feelings of being lonely, I would say.
Take care.

Noah ..i am  of constant sorrow...but don't worry about me..I will handle it the best I can hugss to you dear one.

Kathleen..well my heart has been wrenched for the last time...

Sandra..I would say lonely is defined differently by each of us. I am choosing to be alone now...it's a safer feeling not having any expectations at all.thank you for letting me borrow your title.

Thank you Denise, funny what one can write and the responses one receives when one's heart has been wrenched.
