I'm trying hard to find the joy
Of Christmas when I had my boy
And two girls round our  shining tree.
Their daddy too was still with me.
So many years have come and gone;
Still those memories linger on.

With my daughters this Christmas Day
Enjoying Grandchildren at their play,
My mind goes to another time,
When my own chidren play and climb
Upon my lap to hear the tale
Of how old Santa will not fail
To find our chimney, though it's small
And bring a gift to one and all.

Of all Christmas's, those were best;
The five of us in our own nest.

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Joyce, I know just how you feel, this poem made me cry reading it! (sigh) But I know deep down that all five of you will again share a loving Christmas together, just as your love together will always shine. (sigh) God Bless You, sweet Joyce, we all love you so much and wish you the happiest holiday cheer! (kiss on cheek) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joyce, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Joyce, good to see you here in Open.
Yes, every Christmas has changed so much for me too.  My son is leaving for college next year and my daughter returning..both out of state. So, this year is very special to me.
Thank you for this. I will savor every moment of this Christmas and you do the same!!!!

Sometimes the memories make the joy. I love this, Lady.

Your storm of assumption feeds anger I am calm enough to hold inside. Don't pretend to know me if you've never put stretched out your heart with since
