In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2001-12-01 01:53 PM

Lost in the memory of you
I stand silently screaming
Your voice in my head
Softly calling,

In you, I am so lost
I lay weeping
I feel silence
Deep inside me
My soul echoes
My heart aches
Where traces of you remain,
The rain falling, my tears

In shades of midnight
I write to you by candlelight as you
Lay sleeping, I can no longer hear
Your sweet slumber, but I know you are there
I feel your warmth, your breathing still
Guides me to the haven of my
Dreams among the stars

I love you for the passion I feel when
I close my eyes, for the inspiration of your
Beauty, for the colors I use to
Paint our canvas of gathered time
In vibrant colors
Walking in summertime,
Gently falling snows of winter,
Autumn leaves blowing

Time is all I have in
These

Whispers of dawn,

Your calming peace renews my heart,
Where again we
Dance in salvation

Time
is still
~~~~~
I keep my ideals,
because in spite of everything,
I still believe that
people are really good at heart.
Beautifully done!   I love reading your work!
Your storm of assumption feeds anger I am calm enough to hold inside. Don't pretend to know me if you've never put stretched out your heart with since
Your words float on
the whisper of dawn
with greeneyes smiling
a lovely song
Very nicely done, Greeneyes!
I'm just glad I'm not the one to pick from all of these poetic submissions.
Lauren, simply stunning, my friend.    I've never done a challenge.  Perhaps I'll look in to it.  *hugs*
This is very Pretty, Greeneyes
while reading this I could imagine
laying on the grass at night looking up at the stars.
Truely nice Muse.
A Musician must make his Music,
An Artist must Paint,
A Poet must Write,
if he/she is to ultimately
be at Peace with himself.
