Blessings

Very few it seems there are so blest
As the ones who in love's care go blest.

Most it seems prefer to seek their own,
And so staunch bounties that would flow blest.

Seeking worth to prove instead of share,
Most become dismayed their life though blest.

More than blinding need there is to life;
Those who free pointless demands grow blest.

Bitter hearts lost in darkness brooding
Dim within a light that ought glow blest.

Those released from bleak binding hunger
Seeds of hope in field of life sow blest.

Learn to feel, Zahaar, smallest of joys
And a life serene in time know blest.

I see you  like form in  poetry and do it well *s..a Ghazal if I recall correctly

"For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart.
It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul."

hmm.. reading your poem has caused me to call to mind that immortal tale of the tourtise and the hare. "Slow and steady wins the race"
