Moon came in breathless whispered sigh
Lushly kissing butterscotch sky
Scattering stars with careless whim
Singing drowsy lullaby hymn

Biding land a soothing sweet sleep
Promising to cradle, and keep
Sweetest dreams to fulfill one's soul
Wash away burden of day's toll

Refreshing spirit, peaceful rest
Come soon morrow, be then your best
Once again relish this good day
Find spring in step along your way

Greeting neighbor a friendly "hi!"
warm yourself in butterscotch sky

A fine sonnet you give us
To rise to Marge’s challenge,
I don’t see many Butterscotch Skies,
But I look mostly at night,
Glad you gave us a look through your eyes

SEA,
this is ocean smooth, and vivid to hear.

Circe dearest heart, oh how long is it  since I've said that.
((((hugs)))) (I know far too long darling girl) But as I happened to be on site as it were I couldn't but stop to bathe myself in your butterscotch sky.

This is utterly uterly wonderful, just as you are.   I promise I will be back soon, I think I might enter the lists so to speak with a stab at the contest. However after reading this I know I won't win. Truly Circe this is gorgeous, your writing has grown so since I've been away. Before it was wonderful now it is absolutely fabulous.

I sure would enjoy a butterscotch sky right about now, or maybe butterscotch syrup on French vanilla ice cream?
It's going to be hard for Marge to wade through so many sticky sweet treats!
Good luck.
