Falling Out of Love

My feelings now proceed to fall apart
until I no longer know my place in her heart.
I know exactly where I wanted to be
but will not accept such a low priority.

Where have those days gone
when you admired and desired me?
Those feelings always will
be so essential to me.

Now all you can manage is to
question the sincerity of my love
until my heart demands
to be set free.

I am not sure why you think
you are better than me
so I will just say
what will be will be.

I wish I could have given
you everything that you want
but I'm falling out of love
so I can't give you me.
