On A Journey To The Unknown

0 posted 2001-11-30 10:47 PM

Downtown, back in my hometown
You see people with no place to go
They have no place to call their own
The sadness on their face does show

Some of them even with little children
They don't even have any food to eat
No coats to keep them warm in winter
Some without even shoes for their feet

Some are teenagers who left their home
Their reasons for leaving no one knows
Some leave because they don't like rules
Streetsmart, they become I do suppose

They do many things to be able to survive
Trouble they end up having with the law
I wonder if they have any regrets leaving
Especially, if leaving they really had no call

Oh this is so true! I feel for those who are less fortunate, especially around the holidays!! It makes me very said and I try to donate money to charities whenever I have extra money. Thank you for this!

Intriguing thoughts, Sue.  Unfortunately, this kind of thing is a reality for many.  I always try to give whenever I can because no matter how little you think you have, someone else always has way less.  Good message here.

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Sue, this is so so sad! My heart cries out to all these poor people and I always do the most I can to help by offering them food and compassionate love down at the rescue mission where I work every now and then! (sad sigh) I pray for them all and hope they can find some cheer and love these holidays! (big hugggssssss) God Bless You, sweet friend, your loving heart shines in all your words! I love you, sweet friend! (kiss on cheek) You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sue, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
