standing on a shadow's lace

                  Craving
she
hungered for
a man
        who
        could feel
        a ray
        of her soul
        to reveal
strong enough
to take
a stand

weak enough
to still
need
        understanding
        the give
        and take
        of a
        life you
        can make
an appetite
a hunger
can feed

"I have already paid for all my future sins."  Sade...(King of Sorrow)

Hmm..and this is so far down the page, BECAUSE?   I do LOVE this, Lady.   Your writing is always amazing to me.

Your storm of assumption feeds anger I am calm enough to hold inside. Don't pretend to know me if you've never put stretched out your heart with since

Very nice view of a real person, wanting, needing, giving in weakness and in strength.

1slick_lady - I have to say that I read this three times. Each time I read it I tried to come to a decision for a reply. I could not. But what I can say is that you have written well about a woman's feelings and wants. I have learned from your writing, and I thank you. It's very telling, and wanting...

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
