Last night, we watched "Biography."
I was surprised he sat with me.
A writer featured of reknown--
one who calls New Orleans, "home."

This man, the same one who did beg
for me to do something instead
of pounding feelings onto keys
turned to me and said, "oh please...

You need a quiet place to write!
So you won't need to stay up nights."
He saw the money and footlights...
He missed the point--but that's alright.

Finally, I have green light--
so I must thank you, my dear Anne Rice!

Yes, I saw bits of that Biography episode too. Amazing how some peoples attitude changes when they hear the clinking of gold!!! Hope you get your nice quiet space to write now

Awesome, serenity!  I want to go to New Orleans sooooo badly....but maybe that's because Anne Rice is a writing god in my opinion.  *sigh*  I saw her name in your title and had to read.
