Lives are lived within the meantime
Awaiting moments to unfold
Dreams that push the youthfull foreward
Become the stories of the old
A risk is but itself when taken
Waiting too, leads to regret
I live my life within the meantime
Life - is life not happened yet

Live in the present (meantime).
Plan for the future.
Learn from the past.

Wonderfully written

Sometimes, that's exactly how I feel, like I'm collecting stories for tomorrow.  Good one, Kevin.

Wonderful Kevin. How true, life IS living in the meantime. We're always saying "tomorrow I will do this", but it is what we do today that counts. For we only have one today. We have thousands of tomorrows, but there is only ever one today. Love this piece.

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

All we can ever hope to do is learn from the mistakes we make so that we do not repeat them in the future.  Well done, Kevin.
