A Sudden Breeze

by Michael

Such dazzling sky that cloaks this night.
Ten thousand suns there burning bright
and though I've seen this all before,
such beauty I just can't ignore

So many lovely things we miss.
We even sometimes rush a kiss.
We count by years, instead by day.
Before you know life's slipped away.

A sudden breeze that stirs a tree
is still a wonder that fills me,
or a cool stream with rocks worn smooth,
creates such music that does soothe.

Oh how the dewdrops capture light,
but being small they're lost to sight
We look right past them on our way,
as we rush through another day.

The clouds so change shape as they pass
and on a hot day they lose mass.
We spend our lives in too much haste,
allow the best to go to waste.

The sound of waves when at the shore,
the calling birds there as they soar,
the sparkling jewels thrown on the sea,
this is all such a part of me.

I'm liking the sparkling jewels thrown on the sea, just throw them gently

playing....

Michael, this is so beautiful... taking the time to enjoy the moment is very important. I really like this   (((hugs))) to you sweet friend

Thank goodness for artists, with pen or paintbrush, they make us stop and see all the little treasures we might otherwise overlook.  And Michael, you are one who always paints the scenery so well, we get to see the closeups of nature, and you.
