Departing
Lovers

You don't
have to tell me
the reason
why you went away.

Departing lovers
never give the
real reasons anyway.

It's kind of obvious
that if you
truly loved me
you would
love to stay

and I would
never have to say...
"The saddest part of parting
is that I can no longer tell you
that I love you each new day."

Oh, James, I am so very sorry. This poem brought tears to my eyes. You pain and loss is so clear. **big hugs** I know words cannot help much but my heart goes out to you, sweet man.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Wow, that was wonderful. I know that feeling.  *Tears* That brought back some thoughts.  This is one of the best release poems that I have read in a long time.

"Departing lovers

This is truly beautiful. I disagree though, I feel that sometimes true lovers may part, but they will always return. That is what makes their love true. *SMILE*

Sadly beautiful my friend.
You do these well.
I look forward to the happy times for you

separations drear
leaving behind emptiness
heave in life's shadows
this never will have an end
till final separation
