~*Tonight, Love...*~

Tonight, Love...
hold me close
Embrace
this tender, fragile heart

Tonight, Love...
kiss me soft
Breathe warmth
upon this tear-stained cheek

Tonight, Love
touch me sweet
Whisper
the promise of forever

Until tonight, Love...

~vlraynes

"...until you have read the verse on his heart,
you have not truly met the poet.

this one clings to me..says, "take me home, take me home.."

this could be taken as "love" being a 'pet name'..or "love" being 'love'...hmm..i like it both ways..

great write tricks

good to see you, btw!  hugs, g

I couldn't sleep last night, and came down and switched the computer on. You don't know how much this one spoke to my mood and feelings at the time. So simply put, but so much emotion in this one, I love it Vicky

This is one of those rare poems that is from the heart to the heart.
