Romantic words flow from your pen
And hearts start pumping once again.
The words you place upon the line
Sends me back to another time.

Your words rekindle the burned out coals
As you captivate my heart and soul.
Hidden there within the shadows
I offer you this simple rose.

You soothe the soul and mend the heart
And one more time the teardrops start.
Knowing deep down love never ends,
Perhaps we'll try this once again.

Eloise, this is really a nice love poem. Someone is re-lighting the fires?

"Your words rekindle the burned out coals
As you captivate my heart and soul."

Thank you all for stopping to read and comment.  Much appreciated.  No, Midnitesun, no rekindling -- just words from my pen!
