Generic on paper
thoughts as flies
innumerable quick
penned netted tries

many lost truths
indistinguishable honesty
So do I have to be a liar
to write inspired poetry?

too many flies
they all look the same
chaotic tries
half-baked in center flame

But, is this wrong?

For as long as the flame is flaming;
Burns my thoughts in writing
...I should cease all my complaining,
and with poetry begin fighting.

But even now the flies escape,
which hinders a very peaceful shape,
to every one poem that I make.

Well I can say one thing...that your poetry is unique and made me stop and think while I read it a second time. Inspiration takes so many different forms that each poet has their own that they write from. Welcome to Passions. You will find the poets here are extremely talented and very loving to all who join our little family. **hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Welcome to passions, Daemonyin.

Let those flies loose
to land where they will
they'll help you find
the end of your quill
and then the words
will really fly
across these
blue pages

nothing could ever be ever be wrong
with a heart so open to the song
of self revealing, beauty spent
in sharing thoughts in lines you've lent
to us to read

they're yours you know!

with all
all share
we all
will grow!

thank you!!! loved your lyical verse which was emotive and seemed straight from the heart.... i love to feel sincerity in poetry... and i felt it in yours.... Very nicely done with the expressiveness and phrasing of a human poet.... hurts, questions, truths, all portrayed with honesty...

i love it!! Welcome to the blue pages.... i will look forward to reading more of you!!!

Oh yes, I know the feeling, but out of the chaos of word-flies the swarm takes form and meaning and often quite unexpectedly beautiful.  Your feeling and meaning are quite clear in truth. Welcome to Passions!

Wow, I don't know what to say.  I guess that I should start with: Welcome to Passions!!!!

Then I have to say that I'm with Startime, I had to read it, stop, think and then read it again.  That was just wonderful.

Sit down, relax, take your shoes, and enjoy your stay!!!!

Love,

Startime, extremely talented indeed.  Never have I been in such a place where so much great poetry rushes in so quickly, and so frequently...  It's like swimming in an ocean of genius; I hope to at least stay afloat.
Thank you all for your sentiment, and your welcomes, I appreciate it and I must say, was all quite unexpected.  I was somewhat nervous, but hey I feel much better now.
Thanks

Its like the first time you try to fly ...
its a bit nerve-racking, a bit scarey ...
but once you feel the wind under you, theres no turning back!!!

Welcome, follow your flame and let the flies settle as they may.

Does one need to be a liar to write inspired poetry? Not at all..one simply needs a knowledge of life and a good imagination and the ability to see beyond what others may. Every day here I see poems from people on subjects I would have never even considered writing poetry about....and yet the poem was there to be written and they saw it. That is the beauty - and the never-ending satisfaction of poetry.
If this poem is any indication of your abilities, You needn't worry. You are indeed a poet, sir, and I welcome you

Whether this was lies or not it was perfectly pitched.
Welcome and write on
