I Pray !! I cried myself to sleep last night, such sorrow deep inside. Only to find, when I awoke, I had no place to hide. And as I rolled out of my bed, both feet planted firm, Possessing this feeling in my heart, bitter, even stern. It seemed that I was all alone, no comfort close at hand, To the floor, I fell upon my knees, God help me understand! And as I knelt in silent prayer, tears falling o’er my face, I asked my God to help me, in this world, to find my place. Why such tribulation and the trials to overcome? Please help me believe the stronger I’ll be when all is said and done. And bless that with each dawning day and sunrise all anew, If nowhere else I have to turn, I can always lean on you. Please send me down an angel to watch and care for me. And through the power held in their eyes, that I may someday see. That the life I lived never was as terrible as it seemed. And the obstacles to overcome, were just what you had deemed. That the life I lived never was as terrible as it seemed. And the obstacles to overcome, were just what you had deemed. So when that day approaches and there’s peace dispersed within, I promise to remember, it is with you my happiness begins. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ No our lives are not always as terrible as it seems, and, usually we come out the other side a better person.
