Sympathy The rain is softly falling- Just outside the window pane- I think of how when you were here, We liked to watch the rain. I think of how your happy smile- Brought light to every room, Without your presence, there remains- A house that’s filled with gloom. I think of how your laughter- Made me also want to smile, And every day at sunset- We’d go out and walk our mile… I think of all the plans we made- And often wonder , “Why?” The sky looks on in sympathy, And joins me as I cry. |

raintears...... i think you've inspired a title... thank you lovely verse here! perfect in meter... (i also like that you're using a new name. it's funny the significance of names. since guns sorta scare me, i didn't click on gunslinger much... strange, huh? the subconcious is a tricky thing) anyway, enjoyed this very much.  |
