In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2001-11-27 10:23 PM

Another Ramble of the mind--
~~~
I could travel through decades
In a few steps, launch myself
Into complete darkness of vast
Waters and shimmering
Islands lost in faith
Sliding, melting
Into horizons
Tonight the clouds will
Roll the winter sky
And the earth below
Shall mirror the reflection
Of a bitter white blanket
And frozen dreams
I know the silence,
The real silence
Of a chambered heart that
Wants to dance among
Orchids and smell your skin
On mine
In the mandolin wind
I wanted to touch everything
I thought it might be
As easy as walking
Into the sea
So I held my hands out
Closed my eyes
But I was younger then
And I remembered hearing
The music outside each night
Realizing
I have long forgotten
The silent child
That loves to
Dance
*sigh* life teaches us to bury the child who believed in magic and had faith in true love. How sad it is when we learn what real silence is and can no longer hear the child's whisper of magic even in the cold realities of a winter morning. **hugs**Magnificent writing.
Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.
Lady your words dance across the page.  You my friend, will never quit dancing.  *s*
On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.
Timeless boundaries ...
sometimes even if the urge is to escape,
its motion is the dance.
You can ramble to me anytime!!
Just needed to read
something that you have touched
in one way or another.
sitting, just listening
to what may fall from your
lips.
thank you
