O

This is existence,
this shared sky,
neutral to the eye’s prism,
secret symbol of life,
ferried about,
within
and
without
in silent carriage.

Its particles sustain
in physics’ realm;
heavy,
without apparent weight,
unscented
but aromatic
in earth’s mix,
an essential
element
that cannot
be decomposed.

Yet all of this
does not explain
the air of tranquility
felt in this space
with you.

Corinne, this is wonderful.  You have such a style with your words, no one comes up to it, which is good...it is yours and yours alone...for us to enjoy...

thank you...

Thanks for the fresh Oxygen...

I also noted in the back of my mind that O never stands alone... it takes another one of it since it wishes to be together with another O ... that's how O2 exists... and then it flies around in a pair(being a gas)

wish humans can do that too...

regards to you Corinne,
sudhir

lOved it  *s   very peaceful, especially the ending
