Isn't That Just Like Love

~*Marge Tindal*~

I have felt the heat of you
sweeter than the sweet of you
No more do I have to give
until I've given all to you

For in the embers of giving
I find more in the heated return
Isn't that just like love
smoldering as yet it burns

Borne upon the flames of you
ashed in the remains of you
No more do I need receive
than to be warmed by you

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

Well, just don't put the blame on me
'Cause YOU ignite the flame in me
Make me smoulder with delight
After fire has burned so bright
Red-hot, white-hot...how I burn
Waiting here for your return
To make me burn so bright with lovin'
I could be a toaster oven!
Then cinders all there is to see
'Cause you have made an ash of me!!

I often asked myself what would it be like to be close to a star, I now know because you are one.

Respond to my call and let the waves of my heart fill your life with the wonders of love

A marshmellow roast sounds good to me, Marge, but let's not have any talk about chestnuts roasting by an open fire...I don't care WHAT season it is!!!

Some how I get the feeling that any flame around you would most likely be a "white" flame.  It is so wonderful to see you writing from inspiration and still keeping the would be "fisherman" on the hook without tugging on their gills.  Beautiful write my dear one.

LOLOL!!! I can't help myself!

MARGE! What's the difference between beer nuts and deer nuts?

Beer nuts are $1.95 a pound and deer nuts are under a buck!

Ever since the remark about chestnuts, I've had that joke on my mind and I just HAD TO SAY IT!!
