Listening to every heart

         From the Journal, 1968, #4

To be envious of a bird
         at this moment seems feasible,
for to soar high under the flaming
         sun would seem most divine.
To cast small black eyes on the
green beneath me; to feel the
ruffling of wind through my
         brightly colored feathers;
to know of freedom limited only
         by my boundaries.
Yet I am an ungainly human
with useless arms and legs bolted
down to earth.
So I shall wait and pass on
in that I may soar high.

         I am the blue bird.

Oh gosh I know this feeling. Can you imagine the magnificent freedom to fly on air currents that lift us ever higher. *sigh* what a wonderful feeling that would be.   I love this poem.

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

This was a thinker!  Now, with TM you can do just that - and it is easy once you get the hang of it.  I could write a whole section on the benefits of taking yourself away using your mind, as you come back from the journey so fully refreshed and revitalized.  Can you tell I liked this one?  To be a bluebird is but a thought away!  LOL, wonderful!

Sweetly done, Karilea; but, please don't rush that "pass on" thingy, as there is so much life in you still.

Sharon - I always suspected you might be out of your mind just a little, and now I have documented proof.  I always love it when you come back, though.

To find another series from your pen is a special treat... to know that each one will undoubtedly be an indispensable part to a cohesive whole even while standing alone so magnificently is to be awed... and eager to find more. *S* This is superb, Sunshine.
