One Simple Breeze

A breeze passes the tips of outstretched fingers
Swirling in the midst of life's invisible wand
Offering soft comfort as it mindlessly lingers
Capturing this embrace of our peaceful bond

Gentle is the pull from heaven's quiet retreat
As it settles between a tripod of hopeful gains
Caressing fears that so often come to deplete
The solitude found amongst the gentlest rains

Soothing is this passage of horizon to thought
Silent is the serenity flooding the veins of fears
Whispers of gratitude are found as it is caught
Resting graciously within understanding tears

Moments forgotten in the shadows of yesterday
Dance freely on the floor of this conscious glow
Encasing the power of our love in childish play
Relinquishing the holds we have come to know

Rest now my love ...
and allow this peace to dwell

Mark Christopher

I have found in you ... a reflection of me ...
and a path to the peace I have sought.

Mark, there is nothing simple about this. It is beautiful. I will have to check out more of your work, but at the moment there is a storm on the way, I can feel a breeze too. I think I will have to go and enjoy that first.

JM-Hey, what do you mean by the begging ... you need only ask and I will try to oblige!!!   Don't ya know that by now?  Thanks my dearest friend for all that you do to keep my mind occupied.  You have become sort of a hobby to me ya know.  Mind you, not the hobby I would have seen myself doing 2 years ago, but what the heck ... times change and so do the needs (of non-Aquarians) of others. LOL  Thank you much for your kind words and always pointing the poetic aspects of my poems so that I may grow in my writing.  Huge hugs!!!!

Coco-And I just love the feeling I get when I see your name on one of my posts.  Thank you much my dear friend for all you give and do for so many of us here.

Marina-I don't know about the class but I will sure as heck take the beauty!!!    Oh, is that you???  Well, I guess I better just smile and say thank you much and remind you that I do appreciate your kindness.

Annie-Well of course I didn't!!! I may be getting older but the mind works quite well still.  I too have missed being here.  Thanks for the double visit.

Marge- Osiyo!!!!!!!!!
Well now my dear friend of nature and fire ... how could it not be a sweet visit when your shadow is ever present?  Thank you bunches and many many hugs.

Hey there baby...looks like you finally decided to grace this place with one of your many breathtaking writes... ...this place misses ya, and BOY, so do I...AHEM...anyway, this is absolutely beautiful, and you know there is definitely a wonderful picture that comes back to me when I read this...well, a wonderful one, and, a (scratchy scratchy scratch) relentlessly repetitive one, too, come to think of it... ...well, before I get more away from the point, fantastic work, as usual, my love... ...hope to see MORE from you SOON...oh yeah, and thanks, baby... ...I love you!!

JM-I would oblige your request in an instant if not for the holiday season.  I wouldn't want to spoil a good surprise ya know.  Who knows, maybe you will get one in your stocking instead of a lump of coal.

SEA-Now, I happen to know that you wouldn't really want it for you anyway but I do thank you for the visit much.

Gentle Spirit-You do indeed always leave me with a big ego and I thank you dearly for that.

Kris-Well hey there baby!!!!  Ya know ... ya look as good in blue as you do in "Cardinal" red but hey, we will wait till Spring for that one again.  I am glad you enjoyed it sweetie and you know of course that I will always strive to give that helpful tip whenever I can even if it does mean passing up a perfectly good breeze just so you could latch on to it.  After all, love is love and even this ole cowboy can find the understanding in making sure his lady has only the best.  Much love to ya sweetie and don't worry ... SOON is around the corner but never SOON enough.  I love you!!!

and oh yeah .....!!!! Thank you for claiming YOUR poem sweets.  Just wouldn't be fair to leave it hangin' in the auction now would it?

Regina-If you found only a moments tranquility in my words then I am honored. I do thank you for your kind words and visit. It means much.
