Holding you ever close, ever near.
Letting you sleep at my side.
As my heart holds you my dear.

Take an even breath and let it go
for this breeze will I feel.
Keep the strength, don’t be low.
For my hour is nigh, and so real.

Listen to the softness of my words
As I whisper into your sleeping ear
think of us as two soaring birds
flying high, on winged air clear.

Rest well through these coming days
As your dreams are filled and flow
of passion’s moments and ways
which only I will ever you bestow.

Love me as I kiss your eyes and face
Give me your tenderness this night
Dream passionately as love does embrace.
For in our dreams we will be each night.

man, i wish i had a guy who would recite poetry to me as I get comfy and ready for bed. That would be nice. Magnus, this is a beautiful gem! Does your wife write poetry??? If so, I'd like to see some of hers.
