Vine of plenty, fruitful words
still I listen to the voice unheard

where magic twists the spells inside
and leave me in majestic tides

I leap towards the wild side
where horses hooves beat ground
pounding the grass to grooves
manes flying as kites across the plains

hiding from the haggard sliver
Who’s hoarse voices chant, you can’t
and I know I will, just because
the wind is right, and I am invited

temptation and the worldly one
mix well with thunder, lightening
proving real the feel of fearless
as words lilt from yonder valleys

I am the child of such, where morn
meets the crowing of corn fields
Yet, I dream of canyons, cactus and wild things
scratching the earth as the tumbleweeds

Knotting my hair from careless mirrors
dancing, painting ebony notes of laughter
among the tall sea of grey, green grasses
Streaming fresh beneath my feet

prancing towards hollows of rocks, pretending
to be a part of the hieroglyphic scheme

into the twilight burst of sunbellied clouds
waiting for the howling moon of wolves

You know those old machines that flipped images to create movies in the early 1900's (well I guess you don't LOL) but they were made of wood and you cranked them to see moving pictures (the first viewmasters I guess - lol, but bet you don't know what that was either right?) well my Gramma had one, which I have here - ANYWAY... this is what your poem reminded me of - an entire catelogue of available movies to watch, and know what - I loved this one, and saved it, as I thought it is awesome.

Oh how I love it when someone lets their hair down and runs wildly about, casting imagery here and there, and making up make believe..just for the fun of it. This one is a very fun one to read.
PS, I like that new photo.
