(This is a poem about an experience four years ago when I was went to Walt Disney World and I was depressed and almost committed suicide. This feeling no longer applies to me, for now I am so very happy and feel special)

Dusk settles on International Drive
Caricatures of my hopes subside
Premonitions I can’t contrive
Abridged in my stupor
As my shadow bleeds across the avenue

Feeling my heart trembling
The silence is deafening
I jumped on the street panicking
“Sacrifice me God,
for I am not worthy!”

Oh Mother, Father
I hope I may come back to remind you
Someday
How much I loved you
And wished I could be so much more
I'm so sorry...
It’s all over now, all I have to give
Has slipped from my hands
The day my star exploded
My dreams shattered

Approaching the Greyhound trolley
Running in front of it carelessly
My mom whisked me off the street
I fell to my knees
Shame, shame, who am I?

Running with thoughts of suicide
As the skies turned to night
My heart was blind
All my memories bled before me
On this naked dim street

Oh Mother, Father
I hope I may come back to remind you
Someday
How much I loved you
And wished I could be so much more
I'm so sorry...
It’s all over now, all I have to give
Has slipped from my hands
The day my star exploded
My dreams shattered…

oh my god, this is the first non-romantic poem I have seen from you, and I am all tearry-eyed now! Thank Goodness you don't feel like that anymore. You know, whenever you are down and lonely, call on me and I'll lend an ear, my shoulder or a helping hand.
I love you dear friend. You inspire me in so many ways my sweet Angel!! ((BIG HUGS))

I had a friend that committed scuicide.. way back in 7th grade too... man... all I have to say is that I'm glad you didn't go through with it.. it doesn't prove anything, and only causes pain. Stay strong and keep the faith alive!

Love is God. Love is war. Love is what your life is for.

Aww,this is soooo sad! God, I am so glad you are feeling better about yourself now. You are a wonderful kind-hearted person and it shows through your writings. If you ever need anything just email me.

I am so glad you don't feel this way anymore sweet one. You have far too big a heart to not let the world see it. Hugs to you and I'm so glad you got through that period of your life safely.

See how far you have travelled in four short years? Now, if I ever hear you talk like that again, I'm going to come down there to Colorado and kick that sweet behind all the way to Florida. Now, you can go back to your quill and write some more about sugar and spice, and everything nice.

Pain filled, thankfully not where your soul is living anymore.
You have been writing a long time, I see. Me too, started around 13 I think. It's interesting when we look back and see how we have changed in so many ways, but others, stayed just the same
