The End Of A Rainbow

Seasons are becoming
as Nature comes and goes
the Thunder rolls with Lightning
and the Sun and Rain bows

As Storms wash the Lands
Moons crest the rising Tide
Erosion will take the sands
as Time spreads far and wide

Jungles fall, Ice will melt
its known, the signs are there
what we lose may not be felt
who said Life was fair

What to do? Where to go?
Stand where lightning won't strike
find the end of a Rainbow
enjoy, bathe in the like

Don't waste what you have still
remember what Mother has done
cherish life, don't horde your fill
before all turns to none

* Something I wrote awhile ago
but is fitting to Wynter's RAINBOW'S END.

Also fitting of how our earth is changing.
And there may not be a rainbow at the end
one day,  nice write Craig.

Thank you both for the comments.

Yes, there may not be a rainbow at the end the way things are going ...
but I believe, as Nancy seems, that the pot of gold is in the heart ...
you only need to find the right match to create your own.

I think there will always be a rainbow...however, I don't know how many people will stop to look at it and appreciate it!

So true ,ladies ...
that's why we must shine
the best we can do
to create a way
for those simple few

Thank you for your shining words!!

When I first saw the title I wanted to ask if you found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. What I felt from this poem is that we should grab hold of life and live it to the fullest for we know not when the rainbows may stop shining in our lives. Very well done, Craig. **hugs**

Love I leave with you whether it is in your life now or yet the essense of your dreams.

Oh, I love all the wonderfully descriptive aspects of nature you've captured in this piece Craig ... beautiful imagery, much enjoyed!

Best wishes,
