Half moon swinging like a pendulous ax
I ride in moment’s dreaming expanse
where light doth dwell behind bright stars
glancing far, time’s spell of bizarre

standing high upon the shadowed side
I glide as though a child, sliding
falling inside the craters, out of breath
cows flying skyward, I stumble in my step

Floating as a feather no pain, no rain
on my moon beam parade. Starlight wishing trains
streaming in violent storms..All of you dreaming!
Sending asteroids of confusion..Stop the Screaming!

I cry out, in happy tone..I’m not alone
There are others up here within the glow
Chasing them round, up and down the crescent jiggle
Just missing the tag man, tripping I giggle

He hears you! The man on the moon, but he must sleep also!
Still, I swing on night beam vines, singing alto
lullabyes to babes in waiting, teaching
the spoons to trill a giant leap of belief

The plate falls and breaks the silence
where I wake and wander through the daylight
wondering if all our wishes will come true
depends on the view inside of me and you.

Now that was enjoyable!!

Not every wish can come true
but a million would nicely do!!
I liked the nursery rhyme twist
and for you I have so wished ...
to live each dream that you drew.

An excellent write!!

How lovely Regina. This is like a dancing lullaby. I'm up there on your moon beam parade with you. For I believe in wishes come true...but I'm an eternal optimist, an eternal dreamer...I like life better that way

Wow! Thanks everyone of you for visiting my moon beam parade!!   I had this dream of wishes being thrown at the moon while I was on it and cows were jumping like the nursery rhyme! I'm really weird aren't I. LOL! Hugs to all and I hope all your wishes come true!

Sincerely,
Regina

Better late than never.  You ask if you are weird - well do you have a spoon in your hand?   The dish ran away with the spoon remember?  Now you realize you have afforded me a whole new venue - writing my dreams, but you want to read weird, I got weird for you LOL.  This was delightful as is your fantastic new picture.  Loved the poem.

Catch my dream if it you see
A simple one, that wanders free
To give me thoughts to share as you
To give me gift as you have too

Dear Regina, loved it, your mind is so full of adventures, may we enjoy them all.

Another great write.

Rick
