My Creed By: Noah Eaton 11/21/01 My God, you’ve returned to me I’ve signed your resume of Coventry I am One in your sanctuary Believe me now, I’m not afraid I will dog-ear these memories and turn the page To your word I shall embrace Now that you’ve spoken to me I am free I kneel to my knees And plead I wear this new clean pair of eyes I have the will to recognize Unconditional love will be my simple creed I will be… I once thought this time would never come To what passage did I succumb? How did I come undone? You reached your hand down and saved my life Heeding to my suicide You’ve given me insight, now I am alive Now that you’ve spoken to me I am free I kneel to my knees And plead I wear this new clean pair of eyes I have the will to recognize Unconditional love will be my simple creed I will be… My love is my sanctity I am but one son to your pedigree I believe we all are prodigies Love is all we need to look down beneath… Love is all you need... Love is all you shall receive...
