The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2001-11-24 01:16 PM

Looks like another journey
although many miles have passed
my destination's cloudy
but it seems that nothing lasts.

Another vista beckons
verdant green and close to sea
though haze is wrapped around it
still this vision calls to me.

A destiny uncertain
full of holes and bits of lace
seek that behind the curtain
lest life gone wthout a trace.

Touching warmth before it's gone
feel the gaze of hungry eyes
somewhere in the vast unknown
time for me, of this I cry.

Sandra,
as always mingled sorrow and tears flow from your pen. Very poignant write.

Home is where the heart is ...
even the most heavy heart.

I hope you find that wich seems
so elusive to your grasp ...
time, something difficult to hold.

Reach out and touch someone...~Not to pun...your heart is still golden. The shores are beautiful. I imagine you walking along in the sun and finding a treasure! A truly great write.

Regina

oh Sandra, this is melancholy.....
sad but hopeful...yes...sad but hopeful.

And is there any one whose destiny is certain?...I wonder

A beautiful deep piece Sandra.....but the heartfelt sadness is still there. I hope you'd get over it soon....

Take care.....

Another lovely one from you Sandra. Who knows where destiny will take us. The journey is always interesting, if a little painful at times. But our sorrows make us stronger, and wiser for the next time
