I heard her song of beauty as I leapt to closer be
I swam toward the shoreline, but she I could not see
A kiss then as I tired and sank to be with love
Forever to be sung to, as all that sailed above

Short, sweet and beautiful. I like this

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Swept away by a wave of love, Rick? Well done. Now come out of the water depths and sail us another one.

love so powerful
alluring in its promise
until in its song
one becomes lost forever
to those not understanding

The allure of the singing siren...you sailor you!

How the man befit her dreams
She drew from him his force
Settling in beneath the streams
Her White Knight on love's sea horse

You still inspire! Thank you Rick.

Sincerely,
Regina

Tracey, short and sweet at times seems to express more, thank you for your kind reply.

Midnitesun, thank you for your reply, I shall awaken from the depths and return, you can be sure of that and hopefully treat you to another.

wornways, thanks for the reply, and your post, much enjoyed.

Dear Regina, if I inspire verse as this, I must keep posting replies.
Thank you for your inspiring words as well.

Sincerely
Rick
