            "Going Home"

Darkness comes early, the clouds burst
with stars,
The moon shines ever so brightly as I
wonder where you are....

I see the star that's twinkleing, could
that be communication from you to I,
It all is so beautiful, as I turn my
imagination to the sky....

We know our Heavenly Father is watching
us from above,
If we could get visas' up, we could
visit the ones we've loss and loved....

I guess he foresees our future, and he
knows the lives we mourn,
But wouldn't it be awesome to visit and
speak to those that have gone home....

I speak to you daily through prayer,
and I know you hear what I say,
I still think it would be so awesome
to visit, if only for a day....

This piece is so simple and yet so true. Wonderful writing. The vernacular adds something to it.

Quod me nutrit me destruit.
("What nourishes me also destroys me." - latin)

Sharon....much enjoyed this...don't we all
wish for just a day...but it would also
be sad to once again say goodbye....

Thank you both for your kind comments, and yes, Magnus, saying goodbye the second time would be very difficult indeed.....
