Magnolia Bend
By: Noah Eaton
11/20/01

Weeping willows welter in the tangerine rain
Lifting their flowering bangs to a spectrum hurricane
Belly-dancing to the reggae cypress briars
Rattling pineapple tiaras against the daybreak lyre

Down beneath where the swan and dolphin bathe
A shy mellow magnolia bend hosts Mother Nature’s menagerie
Orchids cradle their children, sipping a waft of the morning’s green tea
Whilst the crape myrtles father her offspring

Sherbet shadows drip from a citrus sky
Where the morning glories answer to Dawn’s melismatic cry
Orange groves ripe to the freshness of the season
Harmony balancing what we see to our imagination

Here I pull up the covers and rest in Her concinnity
Watching the pale sky break in serenity
Gazing into the eye of a magnolia, kissed by a honeybee
As my hair caresses across my face, daydreaming under my palm tree…

Welcome back from holidays Noah. Glad to see you back, and I trust you enjoyed your trip. You're certainly singing in a beautiful voice with this piece

You've mentioned a lot of nauture's beauties in this one Noah! I love dolphins...they look sooo pretty jumping out of water.
Lovely Write!

Florida kissed you didn't it! You are certainly sun glowing and vibrant in this. So very lovely! Your words just drip off the page with summery breezes. Hugs!
