The sun shadowed
a ray on your shoulder
as you walked away
from my shore
Drifting to another
with one to many drinks
on a night far away
from me
The ray
a flame of desire
confusing your senses
tempting your spirit
fooling your love
and avoiding the soul
Falling into her arms
in a whirldwind of passion
struggling to keep afloat
drowning in her
Calmly
returning back to me
Hidding your eyes
avoiding my hands
Thinking that it went
undetected
not knowing that
love cannot lie

Ouch.  This one hurts, walker.  It stings of the truth and harshness of reality.  You can never fool one who loves you.  Small things like avoiding a touch are magnified a thousandfold when betrayal is the cause.  Great write.

All writing comes
by the grace of God.

the hiding of the eyes is always a clear sign..from either side of the fence. You scored a bullseye with this one, walker...

Hiding his eyes, and avoiding your touch...
The first is a tell-tale sign, and the second is it's painful evidence. A loved one who shuns from you when you reach out to touch him... that is the worst, i think. You would feel like a knife was taken to your heart.
