Excuse my Lunacy

Excuse for me my Lunacy
A bit of daft is what I be
A sense of write in face of wrong
But somehow I think that
I belong

I tap and click or with a pen
Find my way in never-when
Where others might think
As I do
But if not, we brew a stew

I challenge your audacity
To sit and think a bit like me
Then quick to turn for
Winks are free
As I understand too, your Lunacy

I wear it like a crown that fits
For odd would be a poet who sits
And tries to write of fact
And fare
Until he tries my daily wear

So…..

Karilea, how I adore this. I mean it.
Many times I thought I was nuts (I'm not btw) but the poetry that comes from those who were called odd, as I was...I wouldn't trade for the world. You're not odd by the way! Or Luney! You're wonderful

I admit it - I am a looney toon! No doubt about it, so will I excuse your lunacy - you bet I will! This really likes me for if it were not for going over the edge sometimes where would the best creativity be found? Oh yes, this one really likes me

Oh and by the way some of the best poets in the world were real lunatics, so we are in good company, yes? LOL, loved it, yes I did!
